Varmam, Pura maruthuvam & Sirappu Maruthuvam (Special Medicine) is a unique branch of Siddha System of Medicine.Kayakalpam (Rejuvenation Therapy), Varmam (stimulation of Pranic points), Kirigai (Siddha Psychiatry), and Narambu Mandala kolarugal(Neurological disorders), Mudhumai Noigal (Siddha Geriatrics), Enbu Noigalum Thadavu/Kattu muraigalum (siddha Orthopedics), Unaviyal maruthuvam (Siddha Dietics) etc comes under Sirappu maruthuvam (special medicine).it also includes Siddhar yoga maruthuvam (siddha yogic procedures for ailments), Thokkanam (massage) and Pura maruthuvam (other siddha external therapies).
